Pure Disappointment

Was watching TV yesterday and saw that Hungry Jacks already released their new Angus beef burger. This is a picture of Hungry Jack's new Single Angry Angus Burger. It also comes in a double version, with and extra beef patty and cheese. So this is what it is suppose to look like in the advertisements. BUTTT.....in reality, doesn't look anything like this.
The filling was no where as even, the patty was burnt, and not extra juicy, honestly it just tasted like a normal HJ patty. The angry onions just seemed like HJ's onion rings stuffed inside the burger and topped with sauce. Their Angry sauce is just HJ's normal Mayo, Ketchup and Mustard sauce mixed together. So this burger includes one patty, cheese, bacon, onions, tomatos and lettuce, with a corn dusted bun.

So my conclusion, the Maccas Angus beef burgers and so much nicer, and the beef patties actually taste different to the normal ones, unlike the angry angus. Cost wise Hungry Jacks was much cheaper, only $4.95 for the Single Angus beef burger where as the Maccas version is more costly, but more yummier. I was so excited and couldn't wait to eat it, but in the end i was very disappointed in the quality of the burger.

I am one that doesn't typically like writing, but I realized I need some sort of outlet. There are just too many things in life that you can't just tell your friends and family. This is my first post, and I'm honestly not too sure what I should write about. Even though this blog is called mysterious food addict, I 'm not sure what my writings are going to be based about. It might be about all the new and exciting (hopefully) foods I encounter or it might just be purely based on my life and the problems I encounter. Only time will tell.......

Well today is a beautiful spring day, even though at the moment many might be severely confused whether November is spring or summer in Melbourne. Its been more then a consecutive week of 30+ degree days. What a boring day it has been today, looking outside at the beautiful sunny day, but being stuck inside in the paper/textbook filled room. Why does it have to be such a nice day during my exam period. At the times where I want to go to the beach or just go out and enjoy the sun, I cant due to the stress of the tons and tons of books and notes I have to go through for my university exams. Being in fourth year I am just really sick of this repetitive study side of my university life and just wish that it will just be over, so holidays may come. If it wasn't for the fact I have to study, I don't think I would be this motivated and post up my first blog.

Well back to the picture I posted up, it represents what I am craving for at the moment. Even though I just had heaps of watermelon, but looking at the fruit salad basket, I really don't mind having more.

Thats all for now, REALLY have to go back to study. I am so dead for my last exam, which is next Thursday, which may sound like heaps of time, but there are also other things I have to do in between.
